Arcadio Sanchez

Arcadio passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022.  He went to be with his Lord and Savior.

Arcadio was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on December 8, 1931 to Francisco and Monscrate (De Leon) Sanchez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Wayne Sanchez, son-in-law, Delbert Green and 5 sisters, Mary, Gloria, Nelta, Maximia and Victoria, 8 brothers, Carlos, Pedro, Emilio, George, Camillo, Pasqual, Narsino and Tanno.

Arcadio is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lorna (Brishke) Sanchez, daughter, Lucy (Sanchez) Green, sons, Ruben Sanchez and Leon Sanchez, daughter-in-law, Shirley Sanchez, his brothers, David and Geji Sanchez, grandchildren; Christina, Missy, Shelby, Wendy, Wayne, Arcadio, grandchildren; Dakota, Ciara, Elysia, Dannilynn, Dohmanic, Serenity and Estrella and great great granddaughter, Emlynn and step grandchildren; Vonnie, Amy, Ernie, Christina and Amanda.

Arcadio loved gardening, he also never let a weed grow in his yard.  He also enjoyed going on walks and fishing.  Arcadio deeply loved his family and the time he was able to be with them.  A kind and loving man, he will live forever in our hearts.

Visitation for Arcadio will be held at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.  A funeral service will begin at 1pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
