Wendy Cretacci

Wendy Lynn Cretacci, 51 of Granger, passed away all too young.

Wendy was born on August 27, 1971 in Niles to Henry and Pamela (Dale) Mierlak.

She is preceded in death by her father, Henry.

Wendy is survived by her mother Pamela Mierlak of Buchanan, MI. Husband of 19 years, James Cretacci of Granger, IN and her children Alexandra Mierlak of Elkhart, IN, Brandi Cretacci of Kearney, NE, and Tyler (Jordan) Cretacci of Kearney, NE. Grandchildren; Paisley and Kaine Wolfe, and Gracin, Benjamin, and Camden Cretacci. She is also survived by her sister, Jill (Michael) Torrey of Mattawan, MI and her brother Eric (Stacey) Mierlak of Berrien Springs, MI.

Wendy was a rock music lover and an avid rock hunter who loved spending time with her family, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed being on the water, and absolutely loved all that came along with holidays. Wendy's laugh was infectious and she will be deeply missed.

Visitation for Wendy will be on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 6:00pm at the funeral home. James has invited anyone whom loved Wendy to his home for food and refreshments after the service.
