Vera Robbins

Vera Irene Robbins a 55-year resident of Niles, Michigan passed away on August 3, 2018 at home.  Born February 12th, 1927 in Garret, Indiana to Ralph Jennings Clark and Leola (Kessler) Clark.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bernard Urvan Robbins and daughter Sandra Coleen Reed, Niles MI.

She is survived by her children Bernard Urvan Robbins Jr. (Cindy Robbins), Elkhart, IN., Juanita Sue Trossen (Robbins), South Lyon, MI., Lonna Mae Dick (Scott Dick) Niles, MI., Donna Kae Hisson (Jeff Hisson) Hoffman Estates, IL. 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren, she was also Grandma to her Step-Grandchildren.

She was retired from Brandywine Community Schools as Head Cook.  She spent many years camping with her family and after retirement enjoyed camping in all 48 states.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. and the service at 2:00 p.m. at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Mian St., Niles, MI. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
