Treva Potts-Frick

Treva Mardell Potts-Frick, age 93 of Niles, Michigan died peacefully at 7:09 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 with family at her bedside at Woodland Terrace of Longmeadow in Niles following a brief illness.

She was born on November 2, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana to Stephen A. and Mary F. Dodd, and was graduated from South Bend Riley High School.  She was employed in the office of Liberty Mutual Life Insurance, from which she retired, and she has lived in this area all of her life.

Treva was a devout Christian, and had attended Broadway United Methodist Church, Southlawn United Methodist Church, and Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, all in South Bend.

She was first married to Gene Potts, who preceded her in death in 1995; and was later married to Ralph Frick, who preceded her in death in 2014.

Surviving family includes her daughters, Sandy, Janice, and Darlene; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will gather privately to share memories and honor her life.  Entombment will be at Highland Cemetery in South Bend.
