Torri Angela Onderdonk, age 51 years of Niles, Michigan died at 9:35 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Elkhart (Indiana) General Hospital unexpectedly but of natural causes.

She was born on July 22, 1964 in South Bend, Indiana to David William and Wilma Jean (Gish) Long. She was graduated from Mishawaka (Indiana) High School, and has lived in Niles since 2002.

Torri was a member of the First Church of Christ – Christian in Niles, where she also taught Sunday School. She volunteered with organizations which supported animal welfare, she enjoyed watching animal themed programming on the television, and loved her pets.

On March 6, 1995 in Fort Myers, Florida she married Harold Paul Onderdonk with whom she celebrated earlier this month the twenty-first anniversary of their wedding. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew McCall on January 24, 2015; by her parents; and by a sister-in-law, Vickie Onderdonk..

Surviving family includes her husband, Harold; a son, David McCall of South Bend and his son, Stephen McCall; Torri’s sister, Charity (& Jason) Clarke of Vandalia, Michigan and her children, Tristan Connolly, Augustiana Connolly, Jeanaylia Connolly, Phoenix Connolly, Kayla Clarke, and Joshua Clarke; and Harold’s siblings, Janice Duttenhauer of Niles, Earnestine Ellis of South Bend, Mary Paulette Keefer of Niles, Leroy Onderdonk of Niles, Martha Schlender of Arkansas, Kathy Bailey of Niles, and Dean Ralph Onderdonk of Mishawaka; and many nieces and nephews.

The family is hosting services for Torri at Noon on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the First Church of Christ - Christian in Niles with Mr. Bob Kenney of Niles, officiating.
