Timothy Kenny, Phd

Timothy Joseph Kenny, 69 of Niles passed away after an extended illness in the Chalet of Niles.

Tim was born on October 7, 1949 in Niles to the late John F. and Isabel (Carey) Kenny.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Brian Kenny.

Tim is survived by his brother John F. (Patricia) Kenny, Jr. of Sunfield, MI. His niece Amber (Joseph) Hinojosa, grand nieces and nephews; Killian Burcham, Tyler Burcham, Sofia Baker and Alex Hinojosa.

Tim was an Adjunct Professor of Sociology who taught at several colleges in the area including the University of Notre Dame. He was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Tim also enjoyed swimming and loved studying history.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 26 at 11:00 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
