Theresa Leazenby

Theresa Mary Leazenby, 90 formally of Niles, passed away at The Center for Hospice Care Home on Thursday, February 3, 2022.
Theresa was born in South Bend, IN to the late Edward and Mary (Balon) Sobieralski.
On June 5, 1954 she married Russell Leazenby who passed away in 1993. She is also preceded in death by a son, Kent Leazenby and her brother Anthony Sobieralski.
Theresa is survived by her children; Kevin (Margie) Leazenby of Niles, Kurt Leazenby (twin to Kent) of Elkhart, IN, Lisa (Steve) Heckman of South Bend and Lori Casto of Raleigh, NC,
grandchildren; Jon (Angela) Leazenby, Kent Leazenby, Jr, Kurt Leazenby, Jr., Adam (Meg) Casto, Rachel (Matt) Nye, Joshua (Alyssa) Casto, Michael (Emily Lang) Heckman and great-grandchildren Lydia, Bryann, Russell, and Lilly.
Theresa was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Theresa was an amazing cook and baker. She always enjoyed making meals for her family and cherished the time they had together. Theresa also enjoyed refinishing furniture. She will always be remembered as a friend to all. Theresa had a kind and generous heart. She was always
concerned about and took care of other people. A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Theresa at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 E. Main St. Niles.
