Theresa Hardesty

Theresa Jean Hardesty 60, of Niles, left us way too early.  She passed away suddenly on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Spectrum Lakeland Hospital in Niles.

Theresa was born on May 16, 1962 in Hammond, IN to the late Burt and Maryann Hardesty.

Theresa is survived by her children; Amanda Cooper, Karrie (Shane Poisel) Hardesty of Niles and Tara Hardesty of Texas.  She is also survived by ten grandchildren and her sisters; Randi Kelgy of Plymouth, IN, Penny Volk of Gary, IN and Kathy Hardesty of Hammond, IN.

Theresa enjoyed watching old Western Movies. Theresa enjoyed her animals and her fish tanks.  More than anything, her grandkids were everything to her.  There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them.

She may have left us too early however, she will forever live on in our hearts.

In keeping with Theresa’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. in Niles.
