Sue Redman, age 67, of Murphy NC, formerly of New Carlisle, Indiana, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in Murphy Medical Center.
Sue was born on August 9, 1949 in Mishawaka to the late Jack and Virginia (Larsen) Robinson.
On July 18, 1987, in South Bend, Sue married Roger Redman who survives; along with their children, Amy (David Quirk) Jacobs of New Carlisle, Tim (Tanya) of Henderson, Nevada; two sisters, Jill (Steve) Lahr of Elkhart and Kara Cole of South Bend; seven grandchildren Olivia (Justin)Huggins, Parker, Spencer, Madison, Austin, Dara, Alan and three great-grandchildren.
Sue lived in New Carlisle for twenty-eight years. She was the co-owner of Tradewinds Hair Salon for over twenty years and was an antique dealer for Antique Avenue for many years. She was a member of the National Button Association. Sue enjoyed traveling, knitting, cooking, and antiquing. She was fortunate to have been able to travel many parts of the world.
Sue will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was one of those rare people who had the ability to light up a room with her easy-going personality.
A celebration of life will be held on April 1, 2017 at 2pm in the Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the memorial service.
