Stacy Denise Mure, age 37 years of Niles, Michigan died on Sunday, July 19, 2015 unexpectedly. She was born February 26, 1978 in South Bend to Michael “Mick” and Judy (Fox) Mure.
Stacy graduated from Brandywine High School in 1997 and continued her education, earning an Associate Degree from Southwest Michigan College and then her Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Social Work from Western Michigan University. Stacy loved being a mother to her son Alec. She enjoyed shopping and visiting the beach.
Stacy is survived by her son, Alec Stump; fiancé Marc Stump of South Bend; parents, Mick and Judy Mure of Niles, a brother, Chad (& Kerry Gleason) Mure of Niles and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
The Memorial Mass for Stacy Denise Mure will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Niles by the Rev. Alphonse Savarimuthu, MSFS of the parish. Burial will take place privately at Calvary Cemetery, Niles.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8:00p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
