Shane Mcgraw

Shane Michael Lee McGraw, 42 of Niles, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 4, 2022 in Spectrum Lakeland Niles Hospital.

Shane was born on February 7, 1980 in Niles to Herbert McGraw and Dawn (Biggs) Miller.

Shane is sadly preceded in death by his sister Sarah McGraw on March 24, 2022.

He is survived by his father, Herbert (Diane) McGraw of Niles, his mother, Dawn (Trent Wadsworth) and his step-father, Timothy Miller of Niles, his siblings, Raina Roberts, Rachael Miller, Jerrid Miller, Erika (Joe) Mitchell, Bruce (Kimberly) Word, Kasey McGraw, Herbert McGraw II and Willie (Anderea) McGraw, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Shane had worked as a Machinist.   He had a competitive nature about him and enjoyed playing video games, golfing and board games. Shane loved his family. He taught several of his nieces and nephews how to swim.

Sadly, Shane’s life ended too early.  He had battled with drug use for years and it ultimately took his life. We will remember the good times and hold those moments close to our hearts.

A memorial service for Shane will be held at a later date. Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St in Niles is assisting the family.
