Sally Joann Flanders

Sally Flanders, 77, of Edwardsburg, Michigan passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, after a lengthy illness.

Her life began April 26, 1947, in Niles, Michigan born to Frank and Bertha (Bennett)Tharp.  She married Thomas Flanders September 20, 1969. They celebrated forty-two years of marriage prior to his passing in April 2012.

Sally lived her entire life in Edwardsburg, Michigan. She was a graduate of Edwardsburg High School, Class of 1965. She attended Granger Missionary Church. She was previously employed by CTS for many years. She cherished spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

Sally will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her son, Robert Flanders of Holt; sister, Susan Reynolds of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Julian, Alexis, Alaina; step-grandchildren, Jordan, and Justin.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; and infant son, David Michael Flanders.

Family and friends will gather Friday, September 20, 2024, from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon in Halbritter Wickens Funeral Services, 615 East Main Street, Niles.

The family would like to thank the Ernestine M. Raclin Hospice House for their incredible and kind care for Sally over the last few days of her life.
