Rose Lee, age 86 years of Berrien Springs, Michigan died at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Caretel Inn of Lakeland in Saint Joseph, Michigan following a brief illness.
She was born on November 27, 1926 in Liverpool, England to Michael & Margaret (Kelly) McAsey. She has lived in the Berrien Springs area for 39 years, coming from New Jersey. Rose enjoyed reading, particularly murder mystery stories and history pieces.
On September 6, 1947 in Liverpool, England she married Kenneth Lee, who preceded her in death on August 18, 2005.
Rose is survived by her son, Kenneth (& Anne) Lee of Melbourne, Australia, a daughter, Margaret R. (& Philip L.) Halliwell of Berrien Springs, grandchildren, Christine Halliwell, Jennifer (& Landry) Boysen, Wyeth Lee and great-grandchildren, Sean Halliwell, Kaelyn Halliwell and Alaina Halliwell; and Rose’s siblings, Michael (& Theresa) McAsey and Rita Kelly, all of Liverpool, and may nieces and nephews.
The family of Rose Lee will gather privately for services.
