Ron Grahl

Ron “Big Ron” Grahl, age 49 of South Bend died on Monday, November 17, 2013 at his home, following a brief illness. He was born December 26, 1963 in Niles to Leo William and Violet (Skidmore) Grahl.
Ron was the well-known cook and bartender for the Linebacker Lounge in South Bend. He was an all-around sports fan but loved his Chicago Bears and Cubbies.
Surviving family includes Ron’s mother, Violet Gillis of Niles, sisters, Karen (Lee) Palmer of Niles, and Dorothy (Doug) Uhl of Sullivan, Missouri and brothers Jerry Grahl of New Carlisle, Indiana and Scott Grahl of South Bend.
Funeral services for Big Ron will be held at 7:00p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with Rev. Randy Pearman of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00p.m. until the time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
