Romeo Pineda-Duran

Romeo age 4 of Elkhart passed away when he was not able to recover from injuries.

Romeo was born in Niles, MI on September 28, 2016 to Karen Duran and Jorge Pineda-Martinez.

He is survived by his Mother, Karen and his Father, Jorge, as well as his siblings; Ali, Aydan, Juan, Armando, Julian and Nikolai, his grandmothers; Maria Hernandez and Rogelina Pineda, his Uncle, Axel Hernandez and Aunt, Isabel Hernandez.

Romeo was a happy, active little boy.  He enjoyed playing with cars and building blocks.  Romeo was a fan of Ryan’s World on YouTube.  He loved playing games on his PS4 and playing Among Us.  He will be remembered as the boy who loved his dinosaurs and the movie “The Good Dinosaur”.

Visitation for Romeo will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI.  A rosary will be prayed at 7:30pm.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 219 S. State St. Niles, MI at 11:00 am.
