Roger Garritano

Roger Garritano, age 63, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, died early Sunday morning following a seven month illness. He was born July 26, 1951 in Dowagiac, Michigan to Joseph and Barbara (Burger) Garritano. A 1969 graduate of Niles High School, Roger followed his father in the construction industry as owner of Garritano and Sons Construction, building mainly in Sea Pines Plantation on Hilton Head.
Roger is survived by his wife, Pam, and two sons Phillip and Nicholas all of Hilton Head Island. Additional survivors are five sisters, Mary Jo (Ted) Halbritter of Edwardsburg, MI; Sandra (Gary Steinberg) Garritano of Redwood City, California; Judith (Glenn) Stevens of Westlake Village, California; Laura (Vern) Radewald of Excelsior, Minnesota; Jane Johnson of Buchanan, Michigan and two brothers, Anthony (Denise DeDoes) Garritano of Vicksburg, Michigan and Joseph (Jill Tokarczyk)of Minnestrista, Minnesota.
