Robert Blue

Robert Blue, 93 of Niles, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Robert was born in Mentone, IN to the late Ralph and Bessie (Hook) Blue.

On January 11, 1949 he married Eldona Flory who survives.

Robert is survived by his wife of 73 years, Eldona and their children; Randy Blue of Benton Harbor and Belinda (Charles) Stanard of Niles, grandchildren, Rodney (Adrienne) Blue, Michelle (Tom) Rozmarynowski and Karen (Rob) Randall, 5 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandson.  He is also survived by his sister, Judy Wallen of Warsaw.

Ove the years, Robert had worked as a Plumbing Contractor and had retired from National Standard.  After retirement he worked at Plym Park in maintenance.  He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and fishing again. Robert also played softball and bowling. He loved going to the casino.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service.

Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. in Niles has been entrusted with the arrangements.
