Elkhart – Raymond L. Kozelka, 71, passed away at 1:42am on Monday, December 24, 2018 in Elkhart General Hospital

Ray was born on September 29, 1947 in Niles, MI to the late Kenneth K. and Stella M. (Stasiak) Kozelka.

On September 1, 1979 in Salida, CA, Ray married Charlett A. (Henry). She survives along with sons, David (Ana) Carter and Scott Kozelka; grandchildren, Jonathan, Joshua and Jason Carter; great-grandchild, David Carter; sister, Patricia (Larry) Hunsberger; nieces, Deborah Buckles, and Donna (Mark) Love; Aunt Beverly Stasiak; and many cousins and friends.

Ray was a 1966 graduate of Niles High School and was an Insurance agent for Farmers Insurance. Ray was an avid Notre Dame Football fan.

Funeral Services for Ray will be at 1:30pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME, 615 E. Main St., Niles, MI 49120, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Pastor Don Rohrer from the Nappanee Missionary Church will officiate the service. Cremation will take place with burial in Silverbrook Cemetery at a later date. Following the Funeral Service all are invited to watch the Notre Dame Game at Pizo & Foz Urban Pizza Kitchen 4100 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, IN 46514.
