Raven Elizabeth Mollison, age 18 years of Waianae, Hawaii died unexpectedly on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Queen's West Medical Center in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, possibly of complications related to Russel Silver Syndrome.
She was born on October 7, 2000 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania to Jon M. and Denise K. (Feyos) Mollison. She was graduated from the Myron B. Thompson Academy in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was attending the Kapi'olani Community College in Honolulu.
Raven attended the Saint Rita Catholic Church in Nānākuli, Hawaii, and sang with the choir at HEARTS (Hawai'i Education of the Arts) under direction of Pamela DeBoard. She was a volunteer counselor for the Winners' Camp at the Hawai'i Leadership Academy for troubled teens, and had been mentored by the Camp founder, Delorese Malulani Gregorie. She had a passion for makeup artistry, and was a fan of the rock band, Queen and its lead singer, Freddie Mercury.
Surviving family includes her parents, Denise and Jon Mollison of Waianae; her brother, Alexander K. Mollison of Notre Dame, Indiana and sisters Lenore Rose and Evangelina J. Mollison, both of Waianae; grandparents, Thomas and Patricia Mollison of Niles, Michigan and Charles J. and Michelene Feyos of Mishawaka, Indiana; great-grandparents Robert and Betty Urbanski of South Bend, Indiana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The Memorial Mass for Raven Mollison will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 203 South Lincoln Avenue in Niles by the visiting pastor, Rev. Robert Flickenger of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Edwardsburg, Michigan assisted by Deacon Roger Gregorski of Saint Mary Parish. Committal Rites will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Niles.
