Patrick Scherr

Patrick T. Scherr, age 53, of Indian Lake Road, Niles, Michigan died on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend following a brief illness. He was born July 6, 1959 in South Bend to Lester & Gloria (Polega) Scherr and was a lifelong area resident.
Patrick was a 1977 graduate of Berrien Springs High School and earned his Associates Degree from Ferris State University in 1978. He was a member of NHRA, IHRA and Great Lakes Nostalgia Funny Car Circuit.
On June 4, 1988 he married the former Rozeanne Hamilton, who survives with their doberman dog Morrison. Also surviving is brother Jim Scherr of Anchorage, Alaska.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8:00p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
The family will gather privately for services.
