Patrick Lee Hollis, age 42 years of Niles, Michigan died on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Lakeland Hospital in Niles following a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on April 7, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio to Tom and Laura (Pickering) Hollis. He attended Constantine, Michigan schools, and has lived in Niles since 1996. He was a carpenter, employed for many years at Lee Enterprises Manufacturing in Elkhart, Indiana and more recently at the Coachmen division of Forest River, Inc. in Elkhart.
Pat loved his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his sons outdoors, at the movies, and entertaining friends. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Saint Louis Cardinals, and NASCARs driver #88, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
On April 27, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada he married the former Tina Lee Greenwood, who survives. Also surviving are their sons, Tyler Jordan Hollis and Brayden Lee Hollis; Pats brothers, Tom Hollis of Elkhart and Bryan (& Kelly) Pickering of London, Ohio; several half-brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews; Tinas parents, Larry and Judy Greenwood of Niles and her sister, Sherry (& Greg) Akey of Niles and brother, Steve (& Kimberly) Greenwood of Dowagiac, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Hollis; his parents, Tom and Lillian Hollis; and a half-brother, Tom Hollis, Jr.
The funeral service for Pat Hollis will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with the Rev. Carl W. Bassett, Jr. of Niles officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Pat may be made to the Tyler and Brayden Hollis Trust Fund.
