Edwardsburg – Patricia M. (Ziegler) Christner, 74, passed away at 9:45pm on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Memorial Hospital.
Patricia was born on February 13, 1943 in Niles, MI to the late Osman F. and Mary E. (Newbanks) Ziegler. Patricia was also preceded in death by a brother, Ozzie Ziegler. She is survived by her sons, Todd (Sasha) Christner of Crothersville, IN and Damon (Marcy) Christner of Niles, MI; grandchildren, Justine Cowart of Elkhart, IN, Jack Herman of Niles, MI, and Jocelyn Christner of Niles, MI; great grandchildren, Dwayne Felver III of Grand Rapids, MI, Kenneth Felver of Grand Rapids, MI, Andrew Cowart of Elkhart, IN, and Ember Herman of Fort Wayne, IN; and best friend, Don Youngman.
Patricia was a caregiver and worked for the Cass County Mental Heath Department until the age of 72, “she loved her guys” was her favorite saying about those she took care of.
Visitation will be 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, December 29, 2017 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME 615 E. Main St., Niles, MI. Funeral Service will be at 10:00am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery at a later date.
