Oscar Davis, Sr.

Oscar E. Davis, Sr. 87 of Niles passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021.

Oscar was born on December 17, 1933 in Coffeeville, MS to the late Oscar E. and Agnes (Tart) Davis, Sr.

Oscar had honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy.   On September 28, 1957 in Niles, he married Phyllis Vance who survives.

He is also survived by his children; Julie (Ernie) Martin of South Bend, Oscar Davis, Jr. of South Bend, Diana (Greg) Nielsen of Plymouth, IN, Ronald A. (Kathy) Davis of South Bend and David Davis of Bridgeman, MI as well as 20 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Oscar had worked for Tyler Refrigeration retiring after 42 years. Over the years, Oscar has enjoyed Golfing, Bowling and traveling with Phyllis.

Visitation for Oscar will be on Monday, July 5 from noon to 1:00pm.  A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles.
