Moyne Thomas Weston, age 85 years, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend following an extended illness. He was born August 21, 1929 in Griswold, Iowa to John Allen and Caroline K. (Lawson) Weston.
Moyne was a Korean War Veteran, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division in the United States Army and worked many years for Uniroyal Company in South Bend.
Moyne is survived by his wife, Sarah Weston of Niles; their two children, John (& Vicky) Weston of Sister Lakes, Michigan and Jill Fritzler of Glen Haven, Mississippi and siblings, Connie (& Marion) Plum of Underwood, Iowa, John (& Ferrie) Weston of Sherrard, Illinois, Roy (& Nancy) Weston of Jordan, New York, Larry (& Pat) Weston of Andalusia, Iowa and Douglas (& Lin) Weston of Audubon, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Cecil Weston, Gerald Weston and Shirley Doolittle.
The family will gather privately for services. Donations in memory of Moyne may be giving to the organization of the donor’s choice.
