Milton Jay Helmschrott, 46 of Berrien Center passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Oak Grove A.F.C. in Berrien Center.

Jay was born on August 23, 1970 in Hamburg, Germany to Peter and Sandra Helmschrott. He has lived in this area since 1971.

Jay loved the outdoors. He welcomed any chance to go on walks. He also had a love of music. Jay would often listen to music and sing.

Visitation for Jay will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 10 – 11 am at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, Mi. A funeral service for Jay will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery in Berrien Center.
