Michael Allan Kirschbaum

March 18, 1954 – December 13, 2021

Michael A. Kirschbaum, 67 of Niles passed away in Spectrum Lakeland Hospital in Niles after a brief illness.

Mike was born on March 18, 1954 in Niles to the late William and Betty Jean (Amon) Kirschbaum.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother, William.

In 1972 Mike graduated from Brandywine High School. He then entered the Air Force where he served our country with honor.  Over the years, Mike held several jobs around the area. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother Gordon, playing pool, bowling and traveling.

Mike is survived by his daughter Sarah Ann Kirschbaum of South Bend, his brother Gordon Kirschbaum of Niles, sister, Kathy Barney of South Bend, his Aunt, Dorothy Maynard of St. Joe and several nieces, nephews and many Grand-Nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for him will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St.  in Niles.
