Melody A. Griffith, 38 of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Melody was born on July 12, 1980 in Franklin, Indiana to Tony and Debbie French.

She is preceded in death by her father, Tony French and her grandfather, Bill Davis.

On April 20, 2012 Melody married Blake Griffith, who survives.

She is survived by her husband, Blake Griffith and their son, Optimus Prime Griffith.  She is also survived by her mother, Debbie (Ernie) Ruddick of Franklin, IN., Mother-in-law, Amy (Brent) McCoy of Lancaster, OH, Father-in-law, Jerry (Angie) Griffith of Lancaster, OH, brother, Joseph French of Franklin, IN, sister; Erin (Josh) Anderson of Franklin, IN, and numerous friends and extended family.  She will be missed by her friends in the “Hot Moms Club”.

Melody was the owner of The Refurbished Gypsy.  She also worked at Constant Spring in Goshen.  Melody and Blake loved going “treasure hunting”.  The two of them would visit Thrift stores, Antique shops and anywhere they might find a hidden ‘treasure’.  Melody would then refurbish the find.  She was a multitalented person.  Melody was a talented Photographer and she enjoyed crafts.

Melody was someone who was always there to help.  She would often have a fund raiser to help anyone who was in need.  She has continued to help those in need by being an organ and tissue donor.  Melody would be proud to know that her giving of her Gift of Life is saving the lives of many other people.

A private viewing for the family was held on June 28, 2019.

In keeping with Melody’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her life will be held on a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI.
