Mary Parker

Mary June Parker, 83 of Dowagiac passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 with her family by her side.

Mary was born on June 14, 1937 in Cassopolis to the late Ralph and Annabelle (Goodman) True.

On December 9, 1967 in Niles, she married Gary Parker who preceded her in death.

She is also preceded by her parents, and 12 of her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Donald (Jaye) Raabe of Niles, Dennis (Linda Martin) Raabe of Dowagiac, Ricky Parker of Dowagiac; Grandchildren; Jessica (Stacy) Henry, Jason (Sara) Raabe, Jenny (Todd) Swank, Erica (Rom) Rodriguez, Jayme Raabe and 10 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Terry (Deb) True and her sisters, Betty Yoder and Patty Jerdon.

Mary had worked at Simplicity for a few years.  She then chose to dedicate herself to her family and their wellbeing.  Mary was an accomplished cook and baker.  She also enjoyed canning, mushroom hunting and camping in Michigan with her family.

Visitation for Mary will be on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.  Due to current COVID restrictions, a private family service will begin at 2:00pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Niles.  Burial will follow in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
