Niles – Mary Ann Marker, 84 passed away at 5:40am on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Riveridge Manor. Mary would have liked everyone to know that that staff at Riveridge was wonderful to her, especially Moses who is a nurse there.

Mary was born on June 30, 1935, in South Bend, to the late M. Charles and Loretta (Metras) Marker. Mary was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Marker.

Mary was a parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Niles and a special friend, Marion Casto used to bring Mary Holy Communion often. Mary worked for the Wonderland Discount Store in Niles as a cashier and also G.L. Perrys. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting. As a youth she was involved in 4-H. Mary was a fan of Cabbage Patch dolls.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Mary’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Niles.

There will be no Funeral Services at this time. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery at later date.
