Marcia Dehn

Marcia Sue Dehn, age 59 of Niles, Michigan died at 11:59 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2015 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Saint Joseph, Michigan following an extended illness.
She was born on February 19, 1956 in Belding, Michigan to Robert Lee and Joyce (Stone) Carlson. She was graduated from Belding High School, and attended the former Grand Rapids Keypunch trade school. She had been employed in the former Niles plant of Tyler Refrigeration as a material planner, and has been a bus driver for Edwardsburg (Michigan) Public Schools.
Marcia enjoyed golfing at Hampshire Country Club in Dowagiac, and in the Thursday morning Ladies Touring League. She also enjoyed summer visits to the family cabin in Irons, Michigan, but her greatest joy was her family – especially the grandchildren.
On August 21, 1976 in Belding she married William D. Dehn, Jr. with whom she celebrated last year the thirty-eighth anniversary of their wedding. They were preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rebecca Lynne Dehn, and by Marcia’s father, Robert Carlson.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Dehn, Jr. and by their children, Amanda (& Rich) Mills of Niles and Kristin Dehn of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Mitchell Dehn, Drew Racht, Morgan Racht, Josh (& Cassandra) Mills, Nick Mills, Caleb Mills, and Karlie (& Tony) Bliss; great-grandchildren Lilly and Kadence; Marcia’s mother, Joyce Carlson of Belding and Marcia’s siblings, Dan Carlson of Belding and Tammy (& Bill) Stout of Georgia; Bill’s parents, Bill & Shirley Dehn of Belding and siblings, Teri (& Marty Mills) Dehn and Tony (& Kelly) Dehn; and many nieces and nephews.
The family of Marcia Dehn will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles. Contributions in memory of Marcia may be made to the Marie Yeager Cancer Center, 3900 Hollywood Road, Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085.
