Lynda Adame

Lynda Diane Adame, age 58 years of Niles, Michigan died peacefully at 11:49 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 with her family gathered around at her home, ending a long-term battle against cancer.

She was born on September 2, 1960 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Roque and Lilender Mae Hines.  She was graduated from high school in Omaha, Nebraska, and has lived in Niles since 1995.  She was employed for many years at Communications Test Design, Inc. "CTDI" in South Bend, Indiana.

As a young mother, Lynda volunteered with the Girl Scouts of America as an adult leader.  She bowled on leagues at the Chippewa Bowl in South Bend, and had achieved a 300 game.  She also enjoyed golfing, and added to all of her bowling trophies a golf trophy for the longest drive at a tournament.  Her greatest interest was her family, and their friends who knew that they could count on her for care and support during life’s difficulties.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roque Hines, and by her mother, Lilender Hines who died during Lynda’s childhood.

She is survived by her daughters, Molly (& Erick) Pruett and Lauren Adame, both of Niles; grandchildren Jonathan Ezra, Hunter Fedore, Daisy Mae, and Skye Roque; and two sisters, one brother, and nieces and nephews.

The family of Lynda Adame will gather with relatives and friends to honor her life and share memories at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Community Congregational Church.
