Luke Alexander Youngberg was born July 9, 1992 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Janine Marie (Bechtol) Kennedy and Mark Alan Youngberg. Luke Youngberg grew up in Berrien Springs, MI and attended various schools from K-12: Trinity Lutheran, Village SDA School, Andrews Academy, and Berrien Springs High School. After high school, Luke briefly attended college and worked in various construction trades. Luke also worked with his mother at her business, Quantum Health as a technician and trainer for biofeedback machines. Luke was working at Amazing Exteriors in Austin, TX as a design consultant at the time of his death. He was en-route to a new position in Idaho when he tragically passed away in Laramie, Wyoming on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
Luke is survived by his mother Janine Kennedy, his father Mark (& Kelly) Youngberg, and his brothers, Marcus Youngberg and Matthew Kennedy; his grandmother, Sandra (& Terry) Entrecian, grandfather Floyd II (& Beth) Bechtol; his aunts and uncles, Collette and Kenny Schroeder, Darsi and Wade Kalili, Floyd III Bechtol, Susan and Sam Harboldt, Joy and Drue Wagner; his cousins: Tonya Richey, Nichole Schroeder, Tracy Ferreira, Boone Schroeder, Kendra Gailey, Yamina Kalili, Keki Kalili, Chrysandra Kalili, Kau’i Kaili, Jayson Bechtol, Jaycob Bechtol, Janna Wagner, Daniel Wagner; Bjorn Harboldt, and Elise Harboldt; his great uncle, John Youngberg and his children, John and Ivette Youngberg and their children, Jenny and Paul; and Wesley and Betsy Youngberg and their children, Dakota, Madie, and Katie; and second cousin Rich and Joy Ebbets, and their children, Nathan, Caleb, and Holly. He will be deeply missed by many friends from his hometown of Berrien Springs, MI and especially his recovery family in Austin, TX.
Services for Luke Youngberg will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, 1446 East Main Street in Niles with the Rev. Dr. Patrick J. Nave of Family4Today in Lake Mary, Florida officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
