Linda Harrison-Mills

Linda Darlene Harrison-Mills 62 of Cassopolis passed away at home on December 29, 2018 with her family at her side.

Linda was born on June 14, 1956 in Benton Harbor to the late Raymond John Harrison, Sr. and Ruby Earlene Odom.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond John Harrison, Sr. and Ruby Earlene Odom; her brothers and sisters; Gerald Barker, Cyde Barker, Jr., Raymond Harrison, Jr., Tamara Harrison, Paul Harrison and Brenda Rae Harrison.

Linda is survived by her husband Darrell L. Mills, Sr., her children; Jennifer JoAnn (Buddy) Goff of Cassopolis, Amy Lynn Clayton of Niles,  and Darrell (Katie) Mills, Jr. of Cassopolis, grandchildren; Larry Edward Sibley III, Abigail McClure Harrison, Jacob Matthew Lauri, Sarah Rose Sibley, Randy Alexander Neil Sibley, Camron Ross, Tahj Thomas, Tyson and Tyrese West, great grandchildren; Harley, McKenzie, Briar and Jessie Sibley.

Linda was an amazing woman.  She was able to put herself through college while working full time and taking care of her children.  Through hard work and dedication, Linda was able to earn her LPN degree and eventually her RN degree.  She was also someone who would take on building projects.  She also loved flowers and gardening.  Linda would take her family tent camping in the summer and, while camping, would search for Indian beads.  She loved her family and cherished the time she had with them.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI.
