Niles – Leola N. (Russell) Wright, 95, passed away at 10:37pm on Monday, October 30, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Leola was born on October 23, 1922 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Jacob and Lila (Johns) Russell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Wright; brother, John Russell; and sister Marilyn Russell.
Leola is survived by her children, Gary (Maureen) Koller, and Judith (Michael) Bridges; 6 grandchildren, Angie (Bobby) Tinkham, Amy (Josh) Low, Jeffrey (Sheena) Bridges, Rachel (Chris) Carlson, Brian (Ashley) Koller, Matthew Koller; 7 great-grandchildren, Mckenna, Noah, Ashlee, Alli, Cameron, Melanie, Riley; and sister-in-law, Barbara Russell.
Leola enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved spending time with her family, especially summers by the lake and enjoyed doing word search puzzles in her later years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, November 2, 2017 in St. Mark’s Catholic Church where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
