Larry Hamrick, Sr

Biography
Niles, Larry Levi “Hammer” Hamrick, Sr. passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 in his home after an extended illness.
Larry was born on July, 26, 1935 in Clay County Iowa to the late Cecil and Mable (Diehl) Hamrick. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lavon Hydorn and his son, Timothy Lee Hamrick.
On May 20, 1994, he married Annette Elms who survives. He is also survived by his daughter: Elanah Kay (Wilds) Hamrick, son Larry Lee (Tammy) Hamrick, Jr., step-son Ryan Head, seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was a Carpenter and in his spare time would often work on antique furniture. Larry loved the time he had with his grandchildren. Larry also collected marbles, enjoyed gardening and cooking. He loved spending time with his faithful companion, his cat, Yogi.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI, 49120.
