Kyle Evan Roberts, age 22 of Dowagiac, Michigan tragically died on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Kyle was an organ donor who with the Gift of Life Michigan has already saved 2 people and whom the family hopes will save many more. Kyle was born August 6, 1992 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Jerry Wayne and Lillian Rosell Irwin.

Kyle graduated from Cedar Lane School in Niles and attended classes at Southwest Michigan College in Dowagiac. He was employed by L.A.D.D., Inc in Dowagiac as well as the Speedway service station. Kyle was a free spirt who loved socializing and hosting bonfires. Kyle was a connoisseur of good beer, music, and food. Kyle enjoyed going to concerts, golfing, and fishing with his friends and family.

On June 3, 2011 Kyle married Raven Nichols. Kyle was a son, husband, brother, nephew, grandson, and a friend. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Kyle is survived by his wife; his brothers, Vernon E. Austin III, Dylan W. Roberts, and Caleb H. Clardy; his sister-in-law Ennie Austin; his mother, Lillian Irwin; father, Jerry Roberts, Jr. and step-father, Steve Vandenburg; his uncle, Gordon Irwin; and his grandmother, Sheila Irwin.

Kyle was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Louise Roberts and maternal grandfather, Gordon H. Irwin, Jr.

All are welcomed to bring a dish and join us at the Celebration of Life Pot Luck Dinner that will be held at 3:00p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Niles.

Donations in memory of Kyle may be made to either Gift of Life or the American Cancer Society.
