Kirandeep Kaur

Kirandeep Leann Kaur was stillborn at 2:09 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Lakeland Hospital – Niles, Michigan following a full and otherwise uneventful 38 weeks.

She was the daughter of Mandeep Singh and Elizabeth (Beck) Benjamin. She had been so active that family and friends close to her mother had already experienced her, and loved her enough to use affectionate nicknames such as “Jasmin” and “Bella”. She came into this world at a full-grown 10 pounds, and with a remarkably full head of beautiful black hair.

Surviving family includes her parents, Mandeep Singh and Elizabeth Benjamin; siblings Carson, Alyssa, and Shelby Benjamin; grandparents William & Kellie Beck of Dowagiac, Michigan and Jaswinder Kaur and Jaspal Singh of India; great-grandparents Marie Beck and Robert Dillard; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Connie Beck who died on December 30, 1999.

The family of Kirandeep will gather privately to honor her and share memories. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
