John Tripp

John Tripp, 42 of Niles, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

John was born on August 21, 1980 in La Porte, Indiana to Dennis and Cindy Tripp.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Tripp.

John is survived by the love of his life, Cheyenne Kaiser, his children; Gage Whelen of Hudson Lake, Josiah Tripp of California and Colson Tripp of Niles. He is also survived by his mother, Cindy Creech of Niles and his sisters, Kristina Davis of Elkhart, IN, Melissa Tripp of Dowagiac, MI, step brother, Matthew (Samantha) Clark of Eau Claire, MI, step sisters, Brittany (Eric) Simmons of Niles and Chelsea Kruzich of Texas as well as many other family members and friends.

John was an ASC certified auto mechanic. He was a master of all trades who could fix just about anything.  John was an amazing artist and tattooist.  He loved sound systems, the louder, the better.  Above all, John deeply loved his family and spending time with his son, Colson. 

A visitation for John will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 5pm to 8pm at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St. Niles.
