Jeanne Dennis Sorensen, 73, of Niles, died peacefully May 24, 2024.
Her life began March 22, 1951, the fourth of four children born to Roscoe and Margaret Hoot.
Jeanne deeply loved spending time with her family. She was known to make Christmas special for everyone. She also deeply cared for her cats and birds. Jeanne expressed her creativity in gardening and art, especially, drawing.
Jeanne will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by
Her husband, Garry Ray Sorensen; daughter, Jennifer Dawn (Brian) Sill of South Bend;
son, Dan Wayne (Karla) Dennis of Niles;five grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Megan, Joshua and Kaleb;
two brothers, Karl (Carol) Keiper, David (Becky) Hoot and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Nick Hoot.
The family will observe a private remembrance.
