James Charles Rice

James Charles Rice, 76, of Niles, died peacefully, Sunday, August 4, 2024.His life began July 19, 1948, in Sturgis Michigan, the first of four children born to Elmer and Elinor Rice. Jimmy loved to express himself. He was know to give big hugs and a pat on the head. Jimmy also carried family pictures with him at all times, showing his deep love for them. Jimmy will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his brother, David Wayne (Cindy) Rice; sister, Ella Mae (Mark) Malec and a several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bobby Rice. A Grave-side service will be held 10am,Wednesday August 15, 2024 at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.
