Niles – Hope Ann Flint, 53, of Niles, MI passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer.
Hope was proceeded in death by her mother, Barbara Thurston and sister, Wendy Thurston also of Niles.
Hope is survived by her father, Jerry Thurston; sons, Sam and Andrew (Lacey) Craw; siblings, Donna (James) Thurston Maxey, Carmen (Todd) Leopold, Lea (Mark) Thurston Snyder, Tom (Beth) Thurston, Jerry Thurston, and Rodney York. She also has 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, 14 in all.
Hope made sure to show everyone she met her kindness. She was always there to help anyway she could. She was always involved in the family she loved dearly, and great times celebrating with her friends. She had a way of showing her sassy, fiery and stubborn will all the way to the end in which she will always be loved and remembered for.
The family has planned a pot luck style after life celebration, upon her wishes only, located at 1028 Huntly Rd, Niles, MI 49120 on September 29, 2018 at 4pm. If you would like to send condolences or donation for expenses, it can be mailed or delivered to 1028 Huntly Rd. Niles, MI 49120.
