Helen J. Jackowiak

Niles – Helen J. (Suplicki) Jackowiak, 95, passed away at 11:12am on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Grace Healthcare of Three Rivers.

Helen was born in on September 23, 1922 in South Bend, IN to the late Stanley and Anna (Krusyna) Suplicki. On September 22, 1946, Helen married Theodore L. Jackowiak and he passed away on September 22, 1966. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Sara Jackowiak and Marie Sobieske; and brothers, Bill Suplicki and Joseph Suplicki.

Helen is survived by her children, Kathleen (Dale) Layman and Theodore G. (Cynthia) Jackowiak; grandchildren Andrew Layman, Alexis Layman, Allison Layman, Amanda Layman, Theodore R. Jackowiak and Hannah Jackowiak.

Helen worked at J.C. Penny and G.L. Perry.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
