Harold Onderdonk

Harold Paul Onderdonk, 62, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 in Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI.

Harold was born on January 11, 1960 in South Bend to the late Howard and Pauline (Karnes) Onderdonk.

On March 6, 1995 he married the former Torri Long in Ft. Myers, Fl.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Torri and his grandson, Christian Parquette, his brothers, Robert and Jesse Onderdonk and his sister, Vickie Onderdonk.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Angela (Shane) Parquette of Berrien Springs, MI, grandchildren; Jesse Johnson, Austin Parquette, Trent Parquette and Nevaeh Stockwell and great granddaughter, Jesayln Johnson. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Monte Onderdonk, Ricky Onderdonk, Linda Onderdonk, Janice Duffenhauer, Earnestina Ellis, Paulette Keifer, LeroyOnderdonk, Martha Onderdonk, Kathy Bailey, Dean Onderdonk and many nieces and nephews.

Harold enjoyed watching old Western movies, especially John Wayne movies. He also enjoyed watching sports and listening to music. Harold was a good cook and had been a cook at several area restaurants.  When he was younger, he had also enjoyed gardening. He had a playful sense of humor about him and will be truly missed.

A memorial service for Harold will be on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 5:00pm in First Church of Christ Christian 2240 Yankee St. Niles.
