Goldie Mcdonald

Goldie McDonald, 76, of Niles, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 21, after an illness.

Goldie was born on June 28, 1941 in Sissonville, West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William, son Albert E. Griscott, her sister Mary and brothers Ernest and Guy.

Surviving Goldie are her children; William B. Griscott of Benton Harbor, Roger (Alyson Rodziewicz) McDonald of Hobart, IN. Grandchildren; Roxanne Stephenson, Kylee McDonald, Avery McDonald and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister; Bernadine Brumfield and brothers Roy and Edgar Phillips.

Goldie enjoyed Scratch-off Lottery tickets but her true joy was being with her grandchildren.

In keeping with Goldie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has entrusted Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles with the arrangements.
