Glenn Haynes

Glenn Todd Haynes, age 61, of Clay Street, Niles, Michigan died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Health Center - Saint Joseph of a brief illness.

Todd was born July 25, 1951 in Niles, Michigan to Roy M. and June L. (Gordon) Haynes. He was a 1969 graduate of Niles High School and attended college before working at Garden City Fan. Additionally he worked for Amtrak and was self-employed in his own business. Enjoying cooking, fishing, golf, and camping, Todd was above all an avid Notre Dame fan and sports enthusiast.

On April 28, 1979 in Niles, he married Kristine E. Holmes who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Allison Rae Haynes of Saint Joseph and Megan Ashley Haynes of Niles. Two sisters, Ellen Haynes of Elkhart and Sheila Haynes of Michigan also survive.

Funeral services for Glenn Todd Haynes will be Monday, October 15, at 11:00 a.m. in the Halbritter Funeral Home with the Rev. William Melody, C.S.C. of Notre Dame, Indiana officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.

Todd’s family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 14 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
