Franklin “Bud” Linn

February 2, 1934 – August 26, 2019

Niles – Franklin “Bud’ Linn, 85, passed away at 12:25pm on Monday, August 26, 2019 in Riveridge Manor in Niles.

Franklin was born on February 2, 1934 in NIles, to the late William Amy (Harrold) Linn. On June 18, 1960, Bud married Vivian “Susie” (Stewart) and she passed away on October 26, 2010.

Bud is survived by his daughter, Tami (Verlin) Williams; granddaughters, Mandi Linn and Mindi Wright; great-granddaughters, Maddie Linn and Melanie Wright; and sister, Kate Butterworth.

Bud was a graduate of Niles High School and was a huge supporter of Niles High School sports. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bud retired after 28 years from Tyler Refrigeration and after his retirement he worked as a greeter at Walmart. He was a Professional Bowler and was inducted into the Michigan Bowling Hall of Fame. Bud has always been a big Michigan Sports Fan including the University of Michigan Football Team and the Detroit Tigers.
