Edith Marion Andrews, age 95 years of Cassopolis, Michigan died peacefully at 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2016 with family close-by at the Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan following a brief illness.
She was born on June 10, 1921 in Berrien Center, Michigan to George and Dorothy (Marston) Sink, and lived all of her life in this area. She was employed for many years in the medical records offices of the former Berrien General Hospital.
On February 28, 1942 in Berrien County, Michigan she married Albert Andrews who preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by their son, Charles B. Andrews in 2010; and her brother, George Sink.
Surviving family includes her grandchildren, Timothy M. Andrews of Carol Stream, Illinois and Lynn (& Marcus) Berlin of Kalamazoo, Michigan; great-grandchildren Riley and Alek; and Marion’s sister, Donna Borst of Cassopolis and brother, Kenneth Sink of Berrien Springs, Michigan
The funeral service for Marion Andrews will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with the Rev. Wade S. Panse of the Cassopolis United Methodist Church officiating. Committal services will follow at the Union Cemetery in Berrien Center.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Contributions in memory of Marion may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
