Kalamazoo – Donna E. Hahn, 86, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 in her home, surrounded by her family.

Donna was born on December 12, 1930 in Niles, MI to the late Russ and Ruth (McCallister) Hibbard.

On June 19, 1954, Donna, married William E. Hahn.  They recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. He survives along with daughters, Nancy Kuhnle and Cathryn Spencer; son, Rev. Douglas Hahn, sisters, Abby Husband and June Foddrill; granddaughters, Cari (Nathan) Roche, and Haley Spencer; grandsons, Jacob (Dr. Wei Jiao) Hahn, Russ W. (Jessica) Kuhnle, Sgt. Nathan (Nissa) Kuhnle, and Sgt. Jeremy (Stephanie) Kuhnle; and great-grandsons, Maddux Kuhnle, Nolan Kuhnle, Camden Kuhnle.

Donna graduated from Niles High School in 1949 and earned her Master’s Degree in 1975 from Western Michigan University. She was an elementary teacher for 20 years at Mars and Sylvester Schools in the Berrien Springs Public School System. She was an accomplished quilter.

Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME.  Family and friends will meet at 11am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Silverbrook Cemetery for a Funeral Service and Burial led by Donna’s son, Rev. Douglas Hahn.
