Deborah Heron

Deborah L. Heron of Niles, passed away at her home on Christmas night surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.

Deb was born on August 9, 1966 in Rochester, MI to George and Ruby (Lewis) Williams. She is preceded in death by her father George.

On April 27, 1985 Deb married Charles ‘Chuck’ Heron, III, he survives along with their children; Joseph (Courtney) Heron of Niles, Cassandra (Jake) Jordan of Waklee, MI, Randy Heron and Makayla Heron both of Niles; her grandchildren, Colt, Liam, Hunter, Jaycee, Westyn and Elieyana. She is also survived by her mother Ruby and sisters Linda Kiggins of Wasilla, AK, Sharon Roberts of Fairfield, Ohio, Pamela Fritz of Lafollette, TN, Diane Williams of Cassopolis and a brother George Williams, Jr.

Deb enjoyed going to the casino and playing the lottery. Most of all, she loved and cherished the time she had with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30,2017 at 12:00 PM at Liberty Chapel Pentecostal Church 309 Dewey St. Dowagiac, MI. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am until the service time.

Funeral services have been arranged at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI.
