David Werner

David E. Werner, 58, of Niles passed away on December 24, 2016 at the Hospice House in Elkhart, IN.
David was born in Niles, on January 7, 1958 to the late William P and Helen (Snyder) Werner.
He is survived by his two children William Werner of York, PA. and Manda Werner of South Bend, IN; his brother Joseph (Virginia) Werner of East Lansing, MI; two Aunts; Lucy Snyder of New Carlisle, IN and Grace Werner of Niles, MI and other extended family and friends.
David lived his early life in Niles, moving to South Bend in the 1990’s. He worked most recently at SAPA (formerly Hydro) in North Liberty, IN, retiring due to a medical condition. While living in Niles, he was an active member of the Niles Township Fire Department for many years. He also enjoyed gardening.
Visitation for David will be on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home 615 E. Main St. Niles, MI from 10-11 am. A funeral service will begin at 11 am officiated by Rev. Allen Dybdahl.
